Donor 3790 03/05/06 5:53 PM Hi ladies. I picked Donor #3790 and am now six weeks pregnant. Curious if anyone else out there who made the same choice is also pregnant. |

Re: Donor 3790 03/06/06 2:44 PM lemon, Apparently he is quite virile. LOL. He had pregnancies reported before mine. He has limited vials though. Hurry! Good luck. Maybe we'll have half sibs. <smiles> |

Re: Donor 3790 03/06/06 4:55 PM lemon, I have just begun on this journey of IUI. Last year we found out that my husband is in testicular failure and produces no sperm. So through lots of prayer here we are trying this route to start a family. I was wondering how are you doing through this journey |

Re: Donor 3790 03/06/06 5:05 PM lemon, It is all about his timing not ours. And even though I have had a very difficult time coming to terms with that, once I did everything started to become clear to which path the Lord is leading me on. When he is ready you will be too ):) |

Re: Donor 3790 03/07/06 5:46 PM Felicia cant wait, Hi Felicia and Lemon, We are all on the same wave length. I've been using another donor (5505) while I've waited for 3790 to be available. I hear his next IUI batch will be released in early April, so if this last IUI didn't take, I will go with him in April! It's nice to have you gals to chat with. Thanks for being willing to post your experiences and thoughts! |

Re: Donor 3790 03/22/06 4:58 PM Felicia cant wait, Oh, Felicia. I am so sorry. Do you know what the cause of the mc was? I'm not sure if I have your email, so if you want to chat, you can write me at my new address: sugamajuma@gmail.com (although the old one still works, but I am phasing it out.) Here's a big HUG. |

Re: Donor 3790 03/23/06 5:45 PM msgoodbuns1, Nope. I think it just stopped growing. When I went to my first ultrasound at about seven weeks they couldn't find the heartbeat, then I started bleeding the next day and miscarried three days after that. I have to wait a few cycles to start again. The good news is that I was pregnant though. I hear that is a good thing in itself. Holding onto that... |

Re: Donor 3790 03/23/06 7:40 PM Felicia cant wait, That sounds so odd to me, although they do say that many women don't realize they are pg and then miscarry, thinking it's just a late period. I agree. You were definitely able to conceive relatively easily, so hopefully you'll have another one on the way soon. Did your doc give you any ideas on what you could do next time to prevent it (ie. additional monitoring or bedrest), or is it completely in nature's hand at that early stage? |

Re: Donor 3790 03/24/06 11:01 AM msgoodbuns1, My belief is that there is nothing I could have done differently, it was just not meant to be this time. I am waiting to hear back from the Repro Clinic and maybe they can investigate my labs and figure more out. But, every book I read says that 30-60% of all first pregnancies will end in MC, oftentimes unknown to the woman. Every single female friend I have has either had one or knows one or several other women who have. I suspect that people just don't talk much about it until prompted to do so. In my case, I knew very early on that I was pregnant and I didn't know anything was wrong until the ultrasound at seven and a half weeks. It is very hard emotionally, but I intend to try again the minute it is safe to do so. I am optimistic because every single woman I know who told me she miscarried, went on to have healthy babies. So, I'm taking the time to get my diet under control and let my body heal- and with a little prayer and lotta luck I'll be pregnant again by summer. |

Re: Donor 3790 06/26/06 10:51 PM Hi ladies. It is me, Felicia. It looks like I am pregnant again. I am very hopeful that I make it this time, but I probably won't rest easy until I pass the 12 week mark safely. I am only four now. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know, as you were so supportive during my first preg and MC. I've been gone awhile so that I could regroup to try again. Hope everyone is well. |

Re: Donor 3790 08/11/06 6:42 PM fatheranonymous, I often wonder what it's like from the donor's perspective. You appear to be really comfortable with your decision which is wonderful. God bless you. |
