No reported pregnancies- does this scare you off?

Hello- my partner of four years and I are starting the journey to have a little baby. We have been going through the emotionally draining profile searches and we found a guy we love...but no reported pregnancies!
Does this concern you when you look at donors? CCB says many do not report pregnancies. so we are hoping that is the case with this guy.

jmott, It didn't concern us too much that our donor had no reported pregnancies, because he was pretty new and so probably wouldn't have any yet. He turned out to be great and we were successful on the second IUI. I still have to make sure CCB records the pregnancy, because it's not listed yet.
If the donor you're thinking of has been with CCB for a while and others have been using his specimens regularly and he has no reported pregnancies, then I would wonder if it's really that no one is reporting or if his specimens just aren't good.
If you really like this donor you could always just buy a couple to try and see if you have any success. Good luck with your choice.

ratterrierruckus,
Thanks for the response. The problem is, its hard to tell if he's new. Someone on the phone today indicated that he may have donated in the 90s and then reactivated recently. I think I need to talk to someone on Monday about this because we like him a lot and don't want to risk him selling out.
Everyone we have liked thus far keeps selling out. And we like this guy more than the others.
Does anyone have any experience with the vial swap? I.e. I buy a good number of vials and after a few months decide to switch to a different donor. Is it as easy as they promise? :(
