DONOR INFORMATION
California Cryobank (CCB) provides many types of information to help clients select a donor. The following information is available. Short Profiles, Staff impression Reports, and Donor Essays are available free of charge to clients!

    DONOR AVAILABILITY
    Listed on this catalog are donors available at the time of publication. Please call our Client Services Department at (800) 231-3373 ext. 1141 or check our online catalog for the most current information on donor availability.
     
    Donor specimens are available on a first come, first served basis. Our inventory of specimens change daily. We cannot guarantee donor availability. We encourage you to purchase and store vials, especially if you have one donor chosen. Place your order at the earliest possible time and be prepared with another donor choice if there is no vial inventory at the time you wish to order.
     
    SPECIMEN TYPES
    California Cryobank offers two types of specimens:
      ICI - Specimens prepared for Intracervical Inseminations (ICI)   
      IUI - Specimens prepared for Intrauterine Inseminations (IUI)
    California Cryobank is prohibited from accepting returned specimens and will not be responsible for client error in selecting specimen type.  Please speak with your Physician and be prepared to specify specimen type at the time of order.
     
    GETTING STARTED
    The first step in ordering donor specimens from CCB is to open an account.   Visit our "Open an Account" section for more information on opening an account to purchase donor specimens.  It’s not necessary to open an account to order donor information.
     
    CATALOG KEY
     
    A.R.T. VIALS
    CCB is now offering ICI and IUI vials specially designed for use in a variety of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (A.R.T.), such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer (GIFT), Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer (ZIFT) and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI).  A.R.T. vials are available in both intracervical (ICI) and intrauterine (IUI) formats.  All CCB donors have gone through our rigorous screening process and meet our exceptionally stringent donor standards.  Since fewer sperm are required for A.R.T. procedures, our A.R.T. vials contain fewer total motile cells.  Please note that A.R.T. vials may not be available for all CCB donors. Please see our fee schedule for A.R.T. vial fees. 

    OPEN DONORS
    In response to client requests, CCB is now offering an Open Donor Program. CCB Open Donors are committed to at least one contact with their offspring when they reach the age of 18. CCB will assist with the first contact. As with all CCB Donors, CCB Open Donor vials are available on a first come, first serve basis. CCB Open Donors are listed at the end of this catalog.     CCB NORDIC DONORS
    CCB is pleased to introduce our new international partner, Nordic Cryobank. This new affiliate is in Copenhagen, Denmark and is staffed with California Cryobank trained personnel. All of the donors are carefully screened and selected to meet our uncompromising high standards of evaluation and testing. The addition of our new CCB Nordic donors will provide you with even greater choices of donors. CCB Nordic donors are listed at the end of this catalog.     PREGNANCY
    YES indicates that we have received at least one pregnancy report on the donor.  NO indicates that we have not YET received a pregnancy report on the donor.  From our experience, a donor is on the catalog for at least six months before we receive a pregnancy report.  However, this varies according to supply and demand.
