DONOR PROFILES

California Cryobank has the largest selection of donors, including minority donors. We have two types of donor profiles that provide additional information on each donor.

Long Profiles
The long profile is a detailed three-generation medical and genetic history that each donor is required to complete. The family members described in the long profile include the donor's parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to medical and genetic information, the donor profiles include personal information, such as the donor's religion, hobbies, favorite pets, SAT scores and physical characteristics. The long profile is provided in the donor's own handwriting. This allows clients to see the donor's handwriting and eliminates any risk of error in transcription.

The long profile is 20 or more pages in length and is available for a nominal fee. We strongly recommend that clients review these profiles before selecting a donor.

Short Profiles
The short profile consists of pages 1 and 2 of the long profile. Short profiles are available on this website. You may download as many Short Profiles as you want, any time of the day, absolutely FREE! Clients who call the Cryobank to order short profiles, may order 6 short profiles per month at no charge, after which there is a nominal fee for each additional short profile.
