Staff Impression FAQs

1. Who wrote the Staff Impression Reports?
   The Staff Impressions Reports were written by employees in our Donor Department. These employees meet with the donors on a regular basis during the qualification process and once they are in the donor program.
2. Why are some of the Staff Impression Reports longer and more detailed than others?
   Staff Impression Reports vary in length and detail because they were written by different staff members. Our staff members have different writing styles; some are more succinct and others more verbose.
3. May I speak with the staff member who wrote a particular Staff Impressions Report?
   Staff Impression Reports were created in response to client requests to speak with our staff members who work with the donors. Due to our small staff size, this is not possible. So we are offering the next best thing—Staff Impression Reports!
4. Can I get additional explanation about something that was written in the Staff Impression Report?
   Our Staff Impression Reports were written over a lengthy period of time (over 20 years)! Some of the staff members who wrote the reports have moved on in their careers and no longer work at the Cryobank. We are not able to obtain further explanation of the descriptions in the reports.
5. The Staff Impression Report for the donor I'm considering does not match the characteristics I want for my child. Should I select another donor?
   Please note that the Staff Impression Reports are subjective and represent the viewpoint of a single Cryobank employee. This information is based on the staff member's experience with the donor at our laboratory. People sometimes act differently, based on their environment. A donor who is quiet and reserved at work, may be outgoing and talkative at home. The Staff Impression Report is designed to be used, along with other types of donor information (long profile, baby photo, audio interview, Keirsey Temperament Sorter, Facial Features Report etc.) in making the decision to select a donor.
