California Cryobank (CCB) is searching for a dynamic, creative, and driven individual to join our Marketing team as a Brand Manager. Position Summary:

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the development of brand initiatives that reflect current consumer insights, forecasts future trends and delivers business/financial requirements. Additionally, the Brand Manager will be expected to recommend new programs and other key changes to the marketing approach to fulfill short and long-term overall brand strategy and grow the business. The Brand Manager must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result oriented, and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated 3-5 years of measurable success in delivering results in a consumer-focused brand or marketing management role. The Brand Manager will also provide support to the Marketing Director and Senior Management in the areas of strategy development, special project management, and planning.


  • Develop, manage and execute innovative marketing strategies and annual plans to increase leads, sales, brand awareness and profitability.
  • Manage day-to-day progress of the marketing plan execution and budget; track and monitor metrics and recommend corrective measures if necessary.
  • Manage all brand projects including, but not limited to, marketing and sales programs, digital marketing, advertising, social media, promotions, paid search, SEO, etc. Develop creative briefs that give focused direction to internal teams/agencies to implement world class programs that deliver results. Ensure integration of all elements of marketing mix, driving cohesive and impactful messaging and consistency in all communications.
  • Plan and manage paid search, display/retargeting ads, and SEO to achieve financial targets.
  • Identify and maximize social media opportunities to drive qualified traffic to the website.
  • Manage email campaigns including overall strategy, messaging, and solutions to increase sales generated from emails.
  • Perform qualitative research and quantitative analysis to support business development ideas or strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement new marketing programs, build the brand and achieve financial objectives.
  • Regularly seek input on program evaluation, market conditions and ideas for improving business; provide data-based recommendations for building the business.
  • Assist in management of external vendors and partners as appropriate, including the potential for initiating relationships, contract review, setting strategic goals, development of plans and following-through with accountability for results.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research; maintain historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors and market intelligence database.
  • Assist in website development and updates, writing requirements and content, supporting the development team and testing.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company.


  • 3-5 years prior brand and/or marketing management in CPG or other B2C industry
  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business management or related field; MBA a plus
  • Traditional and digital marketing experience
  • Able to multi-task in a high paced fluid environment while ensuring deliverables are met within assigned deadlines
  • Proven strategic and tactical thinker with excellent analytical capabilities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven history of being both creative and analytical in prior roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both team leader and team player roles
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and to lead cross-functionally
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent Web Analytics skills
