California Cryobank maintains all appropriate licensing and accreditations and ensures compliance throughout our quality management systems to the applicable regulations and standards. ## Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics (AATB) Founded in 1976, the Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics (AATB) is a professional, non-profit, scientific and educational organization dedicated to maintaining high standards of excellence in the tissue banking industry. To be accredited by AATB, the tissue bank must submit to comprehensive on-site inspections that are designed to assure that the bank is professionally managed, appropriately staffed, and maintains policies and procedures to provide consistent quality. California Cryobank uses reference laboratories to perform donor testing which are registered with the FDA and other applicable state regulatory agencies, and CLIA-certified to perform donor testing. These laboratories have a current Certificate of Accreditation for CLIA requirements.
