Accreditations and Licenses
CCB's three locations are all accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB). We are the only sperm bank with accredited facilities in multiple states. We are licensed in every state where required and are certified by CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment of 1988). We are also registered with the FDA.

Services

  • Frozen Donor Semen Services
    The freezing and storing of donor sperm for the use in artificial insemination and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).
  • Long Term Semen Storage
    For men facing the possibility of sterilization, reduction in fertility potential or genetic damage due to vasectomy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and high risk occupational exposures.
  • Long Term Embryo Storage
    Today's protocol of re-implanting fewer embryos than previously practiced has lead to the Cryobank receiving numerous requests over the last few years to store pre-implantation embryos. In response to these requests, we have expanded our semen storage program to include all reproductive tissues.
  • Andrology Laboratory Services
    Semen analysis, fertility testing, sperm washing, etc.

Post-Conception Services

  • Second Child - Same Donor
    This program is available for clients who are currently pregnant with, or had a child in the last 90 days by California Cryobank specimens. If available, the client can purchase six or more specimens of the donor previously used and CCB will give the client the first two years of storage at no cost.
  • Cord Blood Banking - FamilyCord

  • Insemination Reporting
    Our donor catalog indicates whether CCB has received at least one pregnancy report for each donor.
  • Sibling Registry
    CCB has created a Sibling Registry for clients and their adult children who are interested in extending their "family circle." The Registry was created in response to clients requests for assistance in identifying and contacting potential siblings.
