Understanding vial types and sperm counts
Our vial types are created based on the volume, sperm count and motility of the sperm sample. Each type is named for the procedure for which it’s intended (IUI, ICI, IVF or ICSI). You should consult with your healthcare provider to ensure you’re purchasing the appropriate type and number of vials for your insemination or procedure method.

Shipping and storage information for Canada
California Cryobank, in partnership with Canada Cryobank and Can-Am Cryoservices, makes certain to provide shipping and storage options that are safe and as convenient as possible. Here are a few special considerations for families ordering in Canada.
Vials may be shipped directly to your clinic or your home.
You or your clinic are responsible for the safety of your vials once they arrive.
Even though the average shipping time is two to three business days, California Cryobank recommends shipping your vials two weeks before your procedure date.
All storage options will be coordinated through your distributor, Can-Am Cryoservices or Canada Cryobank.
Some common questions
The Donor Reserve Program offers families the opportunity for greater family exclusivity by purchasing vials from a select number of donors who have limited availability of their California Cryobank vials.
